Carefully Screening Applicants
 
Our thorough screening process begins with an application from the candidate upon the receipt of which WJC highly trained staff verifies all pertinent information and checks references.  Applicants are then interviewed and given an explanation of and receive in writing our policies, expectations and a detailed list of requirements for approval.
 
If after the initial interview the prospect meets our high standards a second more in-depth interview is conducted.  Recommended candidates are subsequently required to take an English exam, submit to a drug test and a thorough background check is completed.  Each successful applicant will then be interviewed by WJC's Chief Executive Officer before a final selection is made.
 
 
Handling all Aspects of the Visa Process
 
WJC staff works in tandem with experienced immigration attorneys to ensure that no detail is overlooked as forms are executed and information is gathered and processed throughout the Visa application and approval process.
 
 
Arranging Housing Accommodations
 
Housing accommodations are arranged in advance of the employees' arrival.  WJC human resource employees spend time in the job location prior to the work start date to ensure that suitable housing, that provide comfortable and convenient living conditions, are secured.  WJC staff will work with the sponsoring employer to identify locations that are logistically feasible.
 
 
Coordinating Travel and Logistics
 
Sponsoring employers need not worry about travel arrangements for their new employees.  Our workers pay their way* and WJC staff will deal with itineraries, glitches and will make all connections necessary to ensure a smooth arrival in the United States.
 
 
New Employee Orientation
 
...And we do more to ease the transition such as personally greeting each new employee and transporting them to their pre-arranged housing.  We organize an all-day field trip to help them become more familiar and comfortable with their new temporary home. WORLD JOB CORPS experienced staff conducts several hours of orientation classes and we stay as long as needed to personally introduce each worker to their new job and supervisor. 
 
 
Monitoring Employee Performance and Progress
 
An important aspect of our superior service is monitoring each individual worker.  We create a personal profile for every employee; they are contacted by regular emails, weekly telcoms and a personal visit once a month. WORLD JOB CORPS executive staff will frequently connect with supervisors, including on-site visits, to monitor the performance and progress of each employee.
 
Our highly trained, professional staff will conduct periodic evaluation conferences with each worker and produce subsequent individualized reports which become part of the employee's personal profile. Additionally, to encourage superior performance, we provide incentives for a job well done.  We offer career counseling, tax advice, resume' preparation, airfare reimbursement, Visa extension or modification if needed as well as inclusion in our worldwide referral database for two years.
 
An employee who is offered performance incentives and is aware of being monitored and evaluated, will be a better worker and enjoy a more fulfilling and meaningful experience.
 
 
Interfacing with Employers and Supervisors
 
The WJC Management Team eagerly and diligently works with the sponsoring employer to ensure that every aspect of the business and employee relationships begin and end as a very positive, mutually beneficial experience.  We systematically interface with supervisors throughout the work period to efficiently execute monitoring and evaluating employees' performance and progress as well as correcting any deficiencies and resolving any potential problem.
